About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Our Visit to The New England Air Museum

Bradley loves airplanes so we took him to the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, CT.   You could spend several hours just reading all the information at each exhibit.  We only had an hour and Bradley isn't really at the age where he can understand all that information, so we quickly went through just to look at all the planes.  The museum is very well kept, restrooms were sparkling clean, and they have several exhibits geared for children. Admission prices are very affordable and the gift shop prices surprised me the most.  I couldn't believe how fair the prices are when most gift shops tend to jack up the prices. We had a great time visiting and we will definitely be back again when we are in the area.

The 58th Bomb Wing Memorial Exhibit was the most impressive exhibit.  I couldn't believe the size of this plane.  I tried to capture it on camera but it was impossible with my iPhone camera.
