About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

We Made Cloud Dough - Super Easy Activity for Kids

I joined Pinterest a couple weeks ago and I'm having so much fun finding new activities for the boys.  And so far, most of these activities are super cheap.  The ingredients for cloud dough was under $6 and I'm sure you could even make it cheaper if your local Dollar General store carries baby oil for $1.  I just bought the ingredients at Ingles instead of making a separate trip.

Cloud Dough Recipe
8 cups flour
1 cup baby oil
*Mix the two ingredients together with a whisk or with your hands.

Two simple ingredients make cloud dough!

Kaden carefully measuring 8 cups of flour.

Bradley was in charge of measuring 1 cup of baby oil.

They each poured their own ingredients into the big bowl.

I love how the boys work together so nicely!

Pouring the cloud dough into the big container.

This container worked perfectly on top of the picnic table.

They had some cars and army men to play with in the cloud dough.

Using their imagination!

One adorable messy face that I love so much!
