About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Earth Fare, Ingles, and Mini Miracles Farm Store Sale Week of June 29 - July 5

Earth Fare had the deals this week!!  Chicken for $3/lb, Beef for $4/lb, and Watermelon for $2 were just some of the top deals.  And I'm loving the new farm I found up the street that carries only organic fruits and vegetables!

Earth Fare Trip #1 - I made this trip on Sunday to take advantage of the $3.99/lb organic cherries sale.  Those cherries were super sweet and I'm pretty sure I ate 3/4 of that pound I bought.  My total was $39.30 and I saved $12.07.

Earth Fare Trip #2 - We made another trip last night to get stocked up on the meat sale they are having along with picking up some other items for a 4th of July cookout we are going to.  My total spent was $90.44 and I saved $52.80.  I was so excited to save over 50% at Earth Fare and have 5 pounds of chicken and 5 pounds of beef in my freezer for the next couple of weeks.

Ingles - I was making a cake and cupcakes for some friends this week and ran out of powdered sugar to make the icing.  So a quick run into Ingles and I also picked up some other ingredients to make cloud dough with the boys.  My total spent was $12.85 and I saved 48 cents

I also stopped by Mini Miracles Farm for some fresh, organic produce.  I forgot to take a picture but I bought several pounds of zucchini, 2 yellow squash, 2 onions, banana peppers, and 1 tomato.  My total was around $15.  They didn't give me a receipt and I paid with cash.

My grand total spent this week was $157.59 so I went over my budget by $7.59.
