About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Vacation Day #2 - Cades Cove

On Thursday, we drove to Cades Cove for our 2nd day of vacation.  Cades Cove makes my heart so happy and I just needed to be there especially with Mother's Day coming up.  My Mother loved this special place and it's full of sweet memories for me.

The beauty of Cades Cove is unexplainable.  You can't capture it in a picture.  You just have to experience it in person.  But we still manage to take hundreds of pictures just trying to capture an ounce of the beauty.

It's always exciting to see bears and we saw 3 bears on this trip.  We saw one of the bears climb a tree and then jump to a larger tree.  Bradley thought that was so cool.

We saw several deer and lots of turkeys.
Bradley wasn't too impressed with the horses.  He thought they stunk.

My favorite part of the day was our picnic lunch.  We brought sandwiches with us and found a perfect spot to eat.  We had this black crow watching us and waiting to grab any food that we dropped.  It was the best picnic lunch I've had in a very long time!

    1. I love how it only takes about 5 minutes to blow dry and style and I'm out the door! Bradley is definitely thinning out even though his appetite has increased. He's just a very active little fellow constantly burning calories. :)
