About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie "In My Dreams" Review

I was invited to have an impromptu movie night last night to watch "In My Dreams".  This new movie from Hallmark Hall of Fame will premiere on Sunday, April 20th at 9 pm (EST) on ABC.  I was so excited to be one of the lucky people to get a sneak peek at this movie!  I'll admit that I'm not a huge Hallmark Hall of Fame movie fan...I can pretty much write the ending within the first 10 minutes of watching the movie.  But sometimes it's nice to just relax and enjoy a chick flick.

This is a story of Nick and Natalie that are both lonely and frustrated.  Natalie owns an Italian restaurant that desperately needs customers and Nick is frustrated with his Mother constantly nagging him about finding his soul mate.   Natalie and Nick are on opposite sides of the Haywood Fountain and each throw a penny into the fountain and make a wish.  Neither one of them see each other but they throw their pennies in at the same time and of course their pennies land on each other.  The tradition is that if you throw a coin into the fountain you will dream about your true love for seven nights in a row.  And that's how the movie starts.  Nick and Natalie will dream about each other each night, work through the frustrations of their jobs, see their careers succeed along with eventually finding each other outside of their dream.

I thought the actors and actresses did a great job...nothing too cheesy.  Although Nick's Mother drove me crazy and I knew I wasn't going to like her within the first 2 minutes of her scene.  Katharine McPhee from American Idol played Natalie so it was kind of cool to see someone I recognized.  So mark your calendars for April 20th at 9 pm (EST) and check out Hallmark Hall of Fame's new movie "In My Dreams".
