About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Ingles, CVS, and Earth Fare Sales Week of February 2nd - February 8th

I had some extra items on my grocery list for J's birthday dinner and then for Growth Group dinner this coming Sunday night.  I still have to make one more trip to Costco for some berries and chips but should easily keep the total under $15.  Even with the extra added items, I still kept my total at $131.29 and after my Costco trip this afternoon, we should still have stayed within my $150 weekly budget!

First trip to Ingles - I can't find my receipt and for some reason the transaction isn't showing on my bank account yet.  I'm pretty sure this trip was around $45.

Second Trip to Ingles - $35.15 and saved $18.80
I try to use organic products as much as I can but when feeding a group of 16-18 people for Growth Group on Sunday nights, I just have to look for the best deals.

Earth Fare - $48.53 and saved $14.88.  Baby Back ribs were on sale for $3.99 a pound.  I've never made ribs before so I'm excited to try them.

Awesome trip to CVS - spent $2.61, saved $31.98 and received $7 back in ECB's.  Have I mentioned how much I love my CVS?
