About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your stories with me as well.

Family Game Night

Mike and I are trying to have a Family Game night one night each week.  Last week we made Candy Land extra special by eating ice cream sundaes while playing the game.  Last night we played Chutes and Ladders.  I was surprised at how well Bradley picked up on the games and he's only 2 years old.  Candy Land was great for helping him learn his colors and he practiced his numbers while playing Chutes and Ladders.  Javeion thrives when he gets this extra bonding time with both Mike and me.  He loves playing games together as a family and he won Candy Land twice in a row!  What's your family board game and how often do have game night fun?
Bradley is now a board game pro!
He loved spinning the spinner!

And another piece of a game is missing....
we had to make our own person out of an index card.

Javeion's turn to spin!

Mike finally won a game and we were very glad this game was over.  Chutes and Ladders can take a very long time.  Just when you think you are going to win, you land on a chute.  Ugh!

Ice Cream Sundaes make playing Candy Land more fun!

Candy Land has become Javeion's favorite game.

Bradley loved picking the green color card.
