Sugar Toast

This is technically cinnamon sugar toast but we just called it sugar toast growing up. 
There's just one extra ingredient in this that most people normally don't add to their cinnamon sugar toast.  And I think that's why I loved this recipe so much as a little kid
back then and as a big kid now!
Spread butter evenly over each slice of bread.

The secret ingredient - HEAVY CREAM
Spoon a heaping teaspoon of heavy cream on each slice of bread and spread.

Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on next.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes and then broil on low for about 5 minutes or until tops are golden.  Somehow the broil process just adds extra yumminess to the toast.
Other options:  You can also just use whole milk or half & half instead of the heavy cream.  I've also added pumpkin spice or nutmeg on top of the cinnamon for extra flavor.
