About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I'm addicted to coupons and every penny counts. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your success stories with me as well.

Ingles Grocery Store Trip

Lately, I've been spending $100-$120 a week on groceries.  I know....it's crazy spending that amount of money on a family of 4.  I'm buying more organic foods which will cost a little extra but with the right sales and coupons, I know I can do better.  So I'm ready to get back into serious couponing and posting my grocery trips to keep me more accountable of what I spend.  So for today's trip here goes:

2 half gallons of Simply Pure Milk (our family LOVES this milk) - on sale 2/$6
1 box of Cascadian Farms Granola Cereal - on sale for $3
1 container of Earthbound Farm Organic spring mix - $3.98
1 pint of Organic Valley French Vanilla Half & Half - on sale for $2.48
1.96 lbs of California Red Seedless Grapes - on sale for $1.60 lb

I used two $1.00 coupons on the Simply Pure Milk which is available here.
I used 75 cents off Cascadian Farms cereal which is available here.

My total was $15.41 with a savings of $7.88.
