About Me

My photo

Life is beautiful whether you're soaking in sunshine or caught in a thunderstorm. I take the beauty of life for granted too often. I have a supportive husband who I don't want to live life without, a beautiful son who is always reminding me of the simple things that really matter, and an independent daughter who is teaching me to throw schedules out the window and live in the moment. My day is made when free samples fill my mailbox. I love discovering a new product and sharing it with others. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and will share your stories with me as well.

Two Truths and a Lie

This is a great get-to-know-you icebreaker game for groups of six or more people. Have everyone write two truths and one lie about themselves on a 3x5 card. Put the cards in a bucket or hat and pass it around the room. Each person draws one card and reads it. Everyone has to try and guess which person the card is about and which statement is the lie.

For instance my card would say:

1. I ran away from home when I was in 5th grade.
2. I have had a nose job.
3. I fell off a fire truck one summer.

#2 is a lie and #1 and #3 are both truths.

This is a lot of fun especially if you are trying to get to know each other better. This would be a great game this Christmas if you are getting together with relatives you haven't seen in awhile. A great way to catch up on the latest news. You could change the rules so they have to write two truths and one lie of something that happened to them in the past year.
